If your driving a Mini Cooper S and your sensing a little more 'oomph' in this cooler weather, your right. The main reason for the increase in power in cold weather is due to the increase in air density in the Roots/Eaton supercharger.

Auto-Up Windows

So your tooling down the road in your mini and enjoying the feedback of the 'lively' steering wheel. Your frequently taking your right hand off to shift gears and you decide, for one reason or another, that you would like to put your window up. Unlike most cars with electric windows, including our direct cousins the BMWs, you have to stop all this fun shifting and HOLD your finger on the window 'up' button and HOLD it there until the window completely closes. Nice to read an article on dcmini about waving. Daniel even included the ‘official’ mini semaphore that was part of last years marketing materials from miniusa. This is truly something we should celebrate, I mean the identity of the MINI and it’s heritage culminates in the sighting of another one whilst out ‘motoring’. MINIS in savannah...intro

Posted by murmini Mon, 07 Nov 2005 17:29:00 GMT

There sure are a lot of Minis in Savannah. I was chased by one over the President Street bridge this morning and see one now almost every two or three days. The odd wave, or hands thrown up through the sunroof remind me that the camaraderie of Mini ownership lives on. Hopefully we can pull a few enthusiasts together and ride out to the beach or something….. well just because its fun.
